This amazing woman had her baby a month ago, we did the mini session one week before he made his appearance. It was a nice cold evening, but she was beautiful and her husband was so sweet with her, most men (my husband included) dread taking pictures, but he did whatever she wanted, it was great.
Newborn sessions are quickly becoming my favorite to do, when the babies cooperate, it is magic. Sweet Gabriel, was a little finicky at first, but once he got settled he was the perfect model. These images were taken when he was 15 days old so he was still pretty tired. This family is so beautiful inside and out and they have one handsome baby boy!
Sweet McCall had a bit of a cold the day we took these, but she was a professional and gave us some wonderful images. Newborn photography is something that I am beginning to have more chances to do, I am enjoying the creativity and the difficulty that comes with working with such little and temperamental models. Each session brings new favorites and lessons, I hope you all enjoy this sweet family.
I started of the new year with the first wedding of the year, with a friend I have known for years. I am so happy for her and her new husband, they had such joy on their wedding day. It was a simple wedding with only four people, it was a new experience for me, but one that I really enjoyed. I was able to capture a lot of emotion from the couple, they couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other, I have never seen Ashley smile that big. The only down thing of the day was that it was only 25 degree is in Charlotte that day. Enjoy and congratulations Ashley and Brett!
I have been planning on working with this family for a long time, and it was worth the wait. They were so natural in front of the camera and had such creativity, it made my time enjoyable. This was the first time I was able to use chalkboard’s, but it will not be the last, I love how they look.
